On Saturday July 1st, Passion for Parkinson’s is celebrating Canada Day in active style. Please walk with us in the Port Credit Paint the Town Red parade as we showcase our passion for Parkinson’s, our Foundation exercise programs, and our community spirit. Rigid Riders will be joining them. Bring your Spinning Wheels Tour jersey , your bike, comfortable shoes, a big smile and join us for the fun and festivities. We are not sure if we will be riding in the parade or just walking our bikes with the float. We would also like to do our weekly bike ride on this day. Details will follow when we have more information on our numbers.<\/p>\n

The parade will start promptly at 11:00 am commencing at Stavebank Road south and will travel along Lakeshore Road East for 1 mile.<\/p>\n

Shuttle and Parking
\nLakeshore Road will be closed Saturday, July 1st from Front Street to Shaw Drive from 10 am to 2 pm.<\/p>\n

Parade participant Parking and Shuttle service is available from 8:30 to 10:00 am at Mentor College – 40 Forest Avenue. A continuous shuttle will take participants to the staging area beginning at 8:30 am and run until 10:00 am. A return shuttle will be available after the parade (on Tecumseh Ave.) to take you back to parked cars.
\nParticipants can park at Mentor College until after the parade.<\/p>\n

Public Parking is also available at:
\nPort Street Market Square, underground parking – 80 Port St.
\nJL Plaus Park – 42 Port St.
\nPort Credit Marina Harbour Marina – 1 Port St. (parking fees apply)<\/p>\n

No parking is permitted on Lakeshore Rd between Stavebank & Enola from 10 am to 3 pm.
